Blessing BoxThe Blessing Box located outside of the Educational Building was started as an intern project by Vicar Andrew Berdaihl in May 2021. Since then, the congregation has maintained it. The items range from soup, cereal and snacks to toilet paper, toothpaste and shampoo and more
The items are FREE for anyone and everyone. And if you feel blessed, you may want to consider putting an item in the box to share with someone else. |
Prayer ShawlPrayer Shawl Ministry consists of members that make shawls and small blankets by knitting, crocheting or sewing the article. While making the item, the maker prays for the person that will receive it. Praying God's blessing of comfort and healing be upon them. If you or someone you know would like a shawl or blanket, please let us know. |
Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry & Fruit Baskets
We bake dozens upon dozens of cookies for the Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry and Congregation Shut-ins every November. Weeks prior, the congregation members bring offerings of gloves and handwarmers for the truckers. Then, the baking day starts with some members baking a variety of cookies and some members begin to assemble the fruit baskets with fresh fruit, candy, a greeting card and of course cookies.
The decorated paper bags are filled with cookies, candy, snacks and tracts for the truckers. The fruit baskets are delivered to the shut-ins and the cookie bags, handwarmers and gloves are taken to Carlisle.
